Artificial Intelligence via Biotechnology - Disability-Cure

The major purpose of this event was to spread awareness about the modern breakthroughs in medical sciences. Our objective was to inspire hope among wheelchair users by informing them that medical science is progressing at an astonishing pace, transforming once deemed “impossibilities” into possibilities and realities. With the discovery of permanent cures for many lethal diseases and disabilities, and miraculous treatments on the horizon, the future holds immense promise.
Background
This event marked Strive’s first major step towards its vision. Despite previous financial constraints and limited availability, Strive had been solely focused on its rehabilitation program for individuals affected by neurological and neuromuscular disorders. However, with this event, we expanded our horizons and delved into sharing the latest breakthroughs in modern technologies, such as gene editing, brain-machine interfaces, exoskeletons, and artificial intelligence.
Organizers
A group of dedicated university student volunteers played a pivotal role in organizing and executing this event flawlessly. Their enthusiasm and passion were instrumental in making this event a grand success.
Event Highlights
The event was themed “Vision 2025: A World Free of Disability.” Various esteemed speakers enlightened the audience with presentations on the latest breakthroughs in medical science and technology. Updates regarding gene editing, brain-machine interfaces, exoskeletons, and artificial intelligence were particularly surprising and eyeopening for the attendees.
