SEODF

Volunteer In Service (CUST)

On September 27, 2016, a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized between the Capital University of Science & Technology (CUST), known as the “UNIVERSITY,” and the Strive Eradication of Disability Foundation (SEODF), referred to as the “PARTNER ORGANIZATION” or “PO.”

This event marked a significant milestone in the realm of volunteer services. SEODF proudly stands as the first organization to establish an MoU with CUST for their Volunteer in Service (VIS) program.

Since the inception of this partnership, numerous CUST students have actively participated in voluntary service with SEODF, leaving an indelible positive impact on society. Their dedication has been instrumental in gaining practical experience in volunteerism and in providing invaluable aid to underserved communities. What’s remarkable is that many of these students not only contributed to SEODF’s initiatives but also chose to continue their voluntary service with the organization.

This collaborative spirit continues to thrive. At the end of each semester and before the start of a new one, a fresh batch of volunteers arrives, eager to embrace the principles of volunteerism.

This partnership transcends more than just paperwork and service hours. It has sculpted a lasting culture of volunteerism within the student body, igniting a sense of duty and compassion. This change not only enriches their personal growth but also positively impacts their professional development.

The echoes of this partnership have resonated far beyond campus walls. The community, especially the underserved, has reaped the rewards of this collective commitment. The bonds formed, and experiences gained through this collaboration serve as a testament to the transformative power of shared dedication to volunteer service.

This journey, initiated on September 27, 2016, continues to inspire, leaving a profound impact that extends well into the future
